I am being invaded.

It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen.
But they are all over the house.
I don't think I have ever seen this many over my entire life.
I have seen more of these in the past week than I have seen mosquitoes all summer.
I have discovered that Lady Bugs freak me out.

This is Nova Scotia, we have nothing poisonous here.

Just read an article on them. They seek warmth when the weather turns colder and creep into crevices in walls of houses. The only way to get rid of them is to exterminate.
Sorry.

Actually there was a piece in the paper about them.

Yes, my town is so small it made the front page of the newspaper.

Aparently we had an aphid problem so we brought in Asian ladybugs, thinking that they would kill the aphid and then when the winter came they would die.

Unfortunately, we had two really warm winters and now we are overrun with ladybugs, all looking for a warm place to hide for the winter.

Eww creepy crawlies. Somehow lady bugs have always seemed less vile to me than other insects though...
