Not exactly a criminal mastermind.

So, we got 'robbed' at the shop. Just thinking about it, I am shaking my head.

Dude comes into the shop and says he ordered a battery online from one of our friends in Saskatchewan, Mitch. Okay, we know the guy well. This guy says the battery is dead and Mitch directed him to us. 

I figured, I would take the battery back and have Mitch just send me a bat when he sends me my next order of juice. Unfortunately, I am out of batteries but they are expected within a few days. I tell him its not a problem, come back in a few days and I will fix him up.

The guy pokes around for a bit while I am texting back and forth with Mitch. He knows of who I speak and we make arrangements to make this dude happy.

So, Bunny is manning the til and she is ringing up a lady, after she leaves, dude leaves. As soon as he does, Bunny asks if I seen her blue setup. The lady immediately comes back and says that she waited for the dude to leave to come back to tell us that dude pocketed Bunny's setup.

Bunny is ready to string the guy up and chases after him. He is long gone. I just chuckle and text Mitch that his little friend lifted some merchandise. He chuckles and sends me the dude's name and address.

Bunny is flipping out and I am still just chuckling, looking at all the expensive things he could have taken, he lands on a $12 battery that is about a year old.

We call the police and give them his name and address. We don't want to press charges, just want him served with a protection order, so he will never return.

But Bunny has other plans. She too has his name and address.

Who's fault is it then?

I don't give a shit if you are rich or poor, black, white or fucking purple. You know what you are doing is fucking wrong!

Gang-rape at Dunbar Village

Defense attorneys are blaming the government's neglect of the environment these boys grew up in. The poverty and crime they live with and the media's glorification of violence. That might fly if they were just breaking in and robbing, but they raped and tortured this woman and her son for hours.

Perhaps it is society's pension for explaining away the actions of our youths. Our own Young Offenders Act here in Canada as much says if you are under 17 you can pretty much get away with anything. Drug dealers recruit 12 year olds because they know all they will get is a slap on the wrist. The criminal minds of our society have embraced the laws, they know how to get around them. Every day we hear of people getting acquitted for horrendous deeds because they were 'abused' as a child or grew up in a bad part of town.

Give me a fucking break!

You do not have to be a Rhodes scholar to know that raping and torturing is wrong. The bleeding heart liberals are not doing the world any favors by explaining this shit away. People have to get back to basics. If you do something wrong, you go to jail. I am sure in the back of these kids minds they were thinking they could get away with it. And why not? That is what the media and the legal system is telling them on a daily basis. That is what their own experience is telling them, the assholes who hurt them got away scott free.

It's a catch 22. You have people that had to endure a lot of shit when they were younger, sexual and physical abuse and they turn into monsters when they are older. But if those abusers had been punished in the first place...?

So we have to start now, it will be tough but we have to before its too late. Before the criminals outnumber the rest of us. There has to be a clear message. You will be punished. Its easy to feel sorry for these kids and the raw deal life has given them, but where does it stop?

When do you stop making excuses?

You can bet this will spark up the 'gun law' issue again. But I can't see the Yanks doing anything about it. Say one word about stiffer gun laws and a Yank will scream Second Amendment.

But do any of them even know what it says or how it was initially intended? I doubt it.

The Second Amendment, as passed by the House and Senate and later ratified by the States, reads:

“ A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. ”

If you think about when this thing was written, it makes sense. If the British show up you can round up the neighbors and defend the settlement. Guess what? The British ain't comin' anymore. Get with the fuckin' program.

I think it should just be illegal to have a gun. Period. Sure it might be dangerous for a while, but it would erase the line between criminal and honest citizen. You have a gun, your a criminal. Period, end of story.

Whoa! I can hear all you 'hunters' out there. Honestly, what possible reason could you really have for owning a semi-automatic? And would you really suffer if you had to hunt with an actual shotgun instead of a rocket launcher? Please don't piss on my head and tell me its raining.

I guess we are not sure yet how this guy got his weapon, but you can thank your 2nd amendment for making it easy for him to get one.
